General sequence of measurement run
Measuring for pre-positioning
- adjust kinematic offsets and tool length (drawing dimensions)
- the rotary axes are in zero position
- the probe is roughly positioned above the sphere centre point
- the sphere is scanned in the X, Y and Z directions and its centre point is determined
Measuring the compensation values
This step can be executed either by the supplied measurement subroutines or manually.
- the configured poses are approached
- scan the sphere in each of the poses and measure their centre point
Calculating the compensation values
- Call the calculation subroutine. Use the centre points of the sphere measured in the previous step or the TCP positions defined by external measuring equipment
- The calculation may take several minutes
- The results are output in list format
Checking by the operator
- Operator copies the compensation values to the channel parameter list
Notice
If the measurement is executed automatically using the measurement subroutines provided, no further settings need be made for the evaluation. If this is the case, you can skip the following sections up to “Checking” and “Evaluation”.
