Dynamic look-ahead for axis polynomials (P-CHAN-00453)
P-CHAN-00453 | Dynamic look-ahead for programmed axis polynomials |
Description | The CNC uses this parameter to calculate a permissible maximum path velocity using the derivatives of the programmed polynomial so that the parametrised maximum axis velocity and the acceleration are not exceeded. Generally, this leads to a lower path velocity within the NC program, which lengthens processing time correspondingly. Normally, the velocities and accelerations that occur when moving towards an axis polynomial for this axis are not considered (see PROG// Programming an axis polynomial). |
