Maximum permissible absolute radius difference (P-CHAN-00171)

P-CHAN-00171

Maximum permissible absolute radius difference during circle programming

Description

The parameter is used to specify the permissible absolute radius difference for inactive circle centre point compensation (G164) of circle radii between the start point and target point.
If the radius difference of a programmed circle is below the limit value defined by the parameter, the circle radius is transferred linearly from the start radius to the target radius; otherwise, the error message ID 21758 is output.
If the parameter is unassigned, the default value applies.
If the value is set to 0, no radius difference is permitted.

The parameter Maximum permissible percentage radius difference (P-CHAN-00172) must be included for the percentage circle radius difference error.

Parameter

max_radius_diff_circle

Data type

UNS32

Data range

0 < max_radius_diff_circle < 10000

Dimension

0.1µm

Default value

50

Remarks

CHAN-00171 is only active only when circle centre point compensation is inactive (G164).

Parameterisation example: The circle radius error may be 0.01 mm.
