Error during homing of SERCOS drive.

Description

During homing (see [FCT-M1]), an error occurred with a SERCOS drive.

Possible cause:

Some SERCOS drives require a minimum distance between the reference switch and the position marker in order to complete drive-controlled homing successfully. Otherwise the position marker cannot be detected precisely.

Solution:

• Consult the documentation of the drive manufacturer for further error diagnosis.
• Check the ID number S-0-0298 whether the reference switch must be moved and by what distance.
