Founded in 1987 by Prof. Dr.-Ing. Dr.-Ing. E.h. Dr.h.c. Günter Pritschow and Dr.-Ing. Dieter Scheifele, ISG Industrielle Steuerungstechnik GmbH has more than 35 years of experience in the fields of control, drive and simulation technology largely due to a high level of staff continuity. After completing their doctorates in 2019, Dr.-Ing. Stefan Scheifele and Dr.-Ing. Christian Scheifele as well as many new, young colleagues joined the company, setting ISG on course for a successful future. Meanwhile, with a staff of 70 employees, ISG is an established technology partner for many major companies, offering innovative products and solutions in the field of control and simulation technology.
ISG supplies its customers with software solutions and technologies in the field of industrial control and automation technology. Since 1987, ISG has launched several ground-breaking and innovative developments in cooperation with many renowned industrial and research partners.
ISG-kernel is a universal, modular software for the control of robots (RC), tool, woodworking and water jet cutting machines (CNC) as well as packaging and textile machines (MC). The user can also configure and parameterise machine controllers.
ISG-virtuos is an open, cross-company simulation platform for checking and optimising production systems in deterministic real time, including all components (controls, robots, material flow, etc.). Consulting and implementation based on best practice solutions provide manufacturers of control systems, machines and plants as well as operators of automation systems with support in the efficient use of ISG-virtuos.
ISG-dirigent is the first commercially available tool for the automated testing of control software. After test sequences are created, they can be run independently and reproducibly at any time.
TwinStore represents a digital exchange platform for complete virtual design, validation and commissioning for component and plant suppliers and plant operators.
The ISG portfolio is rounded off by services (technology consulting, application development, system integration, etc.) in the field of products and control technology applications. Customer loyalty and the large number of different applications speak for the flexibility and quality of ISG's innovative solutions.

We joined ISG because of our enthusiasm for machine control technology.
Our aim is to offer the mechanical engineering industry better control systems, better simulation technology and better services, and to share in their success. Our wish is to become a recognised specialist in our field.
