Increasing requirements for control software testing
With ISG-dirigent, tests of simulation models and control software (PLC, CNC) are automated
The progressive digitization of manufacturing and production is further increasing the scope and complexity of the control software. The resulting increasingly higher effort for tests, which were previously performed exclusively manually, can no longer be represented economically today.
In the automated testing of simulation models, individual model parts (component and assembly models, TwinStore packages) or even complete machine and plant models can be automated, qualitatively validated and checked with regard to a wide range of criteria.
In the automated test of control software, the behavior is tested both in normal and in the usually much larger number of irregular operating cases.
Some highlights:
- Extensive collection of block libraries for frequently used control systems, which can also be easily supplemented or extended as needed
- Thanks to intuitive graphical modeling of the test blocks, familiarization is easy and does not require any special programming knowledge: Users can concentrate on creating the test sequences and the test blocks required for them right from the start
- Test modules can be used in different development phases and reflect the modularity of machines and systems
