The Hannover Messe was an exciting and inspiring experience for us. At our stand at the ARENA2036 joint stand D6 in Hall 8, we had the opportunity to present an innovative demonstration together with Balluff EMEA and F. Zimmermann GmbH that blurred the boundaries between reality and virtuality.
Seamless transition: from the real world to the virtual world
Together, we developed a digital twin that allowed visitors to become part of the simulation. This was achieved by linking a real sensor from Balluff with our digital twin in ISG-virtuos. This allowed visitors to change tools in the digital system's tool changer in real time by simply holding the desired tool in front of the real sensor.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank Balluff for the great cooperation in converting their 3D data into a 4D simulation model. Also a big thank you to F. Zimmermann for providing the equipment that allowed us to present this innovative example.
Continuous innovation and exchange
The Hannover Messe gave us the opportunity to bring the future of industrial automation to life and demonstrate the possibilities of virtual commissioning. We were thrilled by the many interesting discussions and the keen interest shown by visitors in our technology.
Many thanks to everyone who visited us at the Hannover Messe. We look forward to working with you in the future and continuing to explore the possibilities of digital engineering.
