Innovative solutions for industry challenges
We are taking part in the SICK Solution Hackathon for the first time this year and are very much looking forward to experiencing the innovative ideas and solutions of the young talents. Our Research Coordinator Anja Elser will be on site to actively support the participants in overcoming our challenge. The hackathon promises exciting insights into the world of industrial automation and simulation.
What is the SICK Solution Hackathon?
At the SICK Solution Hackathon, more than 100 young talents from over 20 countries work in teams to find innovative solutions for current challenges in industry. They are supported by experienced coaches who assist them throughout the entire process. This intensive two-day event is all about encouraging creative thinking and solving technical problems in new ways.
Our hackathon challenge: “Dodging Digital Twins”
Our challenge entitled “Dodging Digital Twins: Build your Industrial Temple Run” asks participants to simulate an autonomous transportation system operating in a complex industrial environment. With the help of ISG-virtuos real-time simulation software, the teams will gain hands-on experience and find out how automation and robotics are used in industrial applications to overcome complex obstacles.
